Howard Payne

William Howard Payne, 64 of Smithfield, passed away on June 5, 2019.  He was the son of the late Shelton Melvin Payne and Annie Pearl Midgette Payne.  Mr. Payne is survived by his sons, Jonathan H. Payne and Mathew Scott Payne (Carrie); grandchildren, Kaileigh, Channing, Micah, Ella, Willow and Brooke; sister, Cindy Modlin; brothers, Sherold Payne (Carolyn) and Michael Payne (Jean).  He was also preceded in death by his brother Shelton Ray Payne. A visitation will be held on Friday June 14, 2019, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Littles Funeral Home, Smithfield. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial donations be made to a charity of your choice.
