She is survived by her sisters, Kelsea Taylar Sprouse, Brandi Moore of Lynchburg, Samantha Shannon Brueckmann and Katelyn Shannon both of Tampa, FL; brother, Kory-Marshall Wayne Sprouse; Uncle and Aunts, Al and Karen Krantz, Mike and Kelly Clay, Wayne and Nancy Stinnette, Mike Shannon, Tanja Adkins, Michael Spouse, Mark and Melanie Sprouse and Lee Sprouse; cousins, David, Allison, Christopher, Matthew, Kippur, Peyton and Colin. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Curtis and Doris Shannon, Bookie and Nancy Krantz; great-grandparents Marshall and Cordelia Griffin; and her uncle Lewis Adkins. Terry Shannon and Marsha Sprouse shared the joy of her birth now we must share the grief of her passing. Heather married Sean Irvine in 1999 where they celebrated a joyous and adventurous marriage for over 10 years along with her step-daughter Crystal Freeland. She always found ways to ensure family was included in everything she or they did, whether it was trips to the Outer Banks in North Carolina for fishing, camping at race tracks around the country, finding a local eatery or attending concerts in Virginia Beach. Her smile, enthusiasm, love and caring for people always made you want to be wherever she was. Heather was an avid horticulturist which was always evident by her constantly planting flowers or buying an arrangement for her tables. Other than her love for family, Heather loved her two pets – her German Shepard Ma`ja and cat Winston. Although she is dearly missed by her families, friends, and those who knew her, the Lord called Heather to serve a greater purpose. You will be so dearly missed! A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 31, 2019, 1 p.m. at Fairview Christian Church, Lynchburg, VA preceded by visitation which will occur prior to and after the official service starting around 12:30. In lieu of flowers the families have requested donations be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to your local women’s shelter.
