Harrell Warren Cook, 59, Carrollton, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2020. He was the son of the late Reginald Eugene Cook and Mary Bartlett Key Cook. He is survived by his daughters, Melissa Sechrist, Elizabeth Cook, Dustie McCay, Savannah Cook and Montgomery Cook; sons, Jeremy Cook, Marshall Cook; sisters, Sydnee Kathy Voigt and Regina Smith; brother, Jamie Cook; nieces and nephews, Shannon, Nickolas, Shelly and Tyler; and he was “Big Daddy” to numerous grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a brother, John Scott Morris and a nephew, Lindsay Coberly Cook. He was often referred to by his family and friends as “The Big Sexy”, “The Movin’ Man”, “Uncle Cool”, “Big Daddy” and “HC”. Know for his generosity he loved to cook and feed people, he had a passion for moving and storage and loved his work. He was an avid sponsor of racing at Langley Speedway and enjoyed racing. He started his day enjoying the sunrise with his children and ended life soaring like an eagle into the sunset. A private chapel service will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2020, 9 a.m. at Little’s Funeral Home Smithfield, following the chapel service a public graveside service will held at, 11 a.m., at Peninsula Memorial Park in Newport News. The funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10 a.m. all are invited to attend. The family will receive friends on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
