Gregory Ray Bailey

Gregory Ray Bailey, 63, of Smithfield passed away on August 23, 2019 in Riverside Regional Medical Center.  He was the son of the late Otis Leroy Bailey and Evelyn Muriel Hill Bailey.  Mr. Bailey is survived by his wife Aura Maria Bailey; daughter, Bonnie-Joy Allen(Russell); sons, Joseph Bailey (Marina), James Perry (Alison), Daemon Douglas (Valerie) and Caolan Bailey (Paisley); grandchildren, Ethaniel, Austen, Aria, Daemon II, Darien, Donovan, Hayden, Olivia, Emilia, Liam, Irina, Lydia, Dominic and Nadia; sister, Kim McConnell (Dwayne); brothers, Jeff Bailey and Roger Rose (Robin); his dogs, Alex and Dora; and cats, Sookie,  Sir Guinness and Lord Tyrion.  Greg, affectionately nicknamed Tiburon, was known for his sense of humor, adventurous nature, no-nonsense work ethic, strong will, generosity, and his heart of gold. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2019, 2 p.m. at Albert G Horton Veterans Cemetery, 5310 Milners Rd, Suffolk, VA 23434, the family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6 to 7 p.m. at Little’s Funeral Home, Smithfield.   Online condolences may be registered at www.littlesfuneralhome.com.
