Emmett "Chuck" Charles Cowger

Emmett Charles “Chuck” Cowger, 74, of Smithfield, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2022.  He was the son of the late Edward Cecil Cowger and Glendola Turnman Cowger.  Mr. Cowger is survived by his wife of 30 years, Donna Marie Nicosia Cowger; daughter, Katie Marie Cowger Wall (Lance); son Elliott Chad Cowger (Aislinn); grandchildren, Eason and Addison; a sister, Barbara Lauret; brothers, Chris Cowger and Joey Cowger.  We will have a Celebration of Life on Saturday, August 27, 2022, 6 a.m. at the Denbigh Boat Ramp in Newport News.  Chuck loved the Warwick River and this will be his final resting place.  Please feel free to join us.  Expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Assoc.  www.alz.org.
