Dorothy Barnett Teague

Dorothy Barnett Teague, 93, of Smithfield passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2020. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Elvin Barnett and Mary Ann Wilkes Barnett. Mrs. Teague was preceded in death by her husband George Nathan Teague and a son and daughter in law, Gerald N. Teague and Tina Teague; sisters, Eva Mae Price, Lucy Carter, Susie Helen Pulley, Mary Gray Raybon, Esther Bell Tant; brothers, Charlie Barnett, JT Barnett, and Tommy Barnett. She is survived by her grandchildren, Michael Teague (Loren) and Nicole Teague Parker; great grandchildren, Skylar M. Langkil; Logan M. Campbell; Landon R. and Brian “Lucas” Parker; and Myla E. and Aliana M. Teague; sister, Patsy Poole, (R.B). A special thanks to her devoted niece Virginia Mora. For years Mrs. Teague was an Isle of Wight senior volunteer who crocheted afghans for residents in local facilities. Mrs. Teague was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church.
