Donald Mark Shank

Donald Mark Shank, 60, of Smithfield, passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022.  He was the son of Thomas Edward Shank and Marcia Ann Cronkite Shank.  He is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years, Sally Ann Sparks Shank; son, Mark Alan Shank; sister, Cheryl Wojnowski (Carl); and a brother, Michael Shank (Amy). Don loved his wife for 37 years; he was dedicated family man and a hard worker. He loved his two dogs, Shiloh and Buster, and his cat, Sadee.  He had a heart of gold and was one of a kind. He worked at Smithfield Foods and enjoyed his job. A memorial service will be held on, Wednesday, January 12, 2022, 2 p.m. at Little’s Funeral Home, Smithfield, VA.
