Deana Lee Morehouse

Deana Lee Morehouse, 63, of Hampton, VA, left us on Friday, March 15, 2024, in true peace while being held close. Deana was a strong, resilient lady who overcame many obstacles, including breast cancer. She was a military spouse and mother who truly cherished her family. She was a great motivator to her children and loved watching them succeed. Deana and Gene enjoyed traveling with the Air Force and being part of the fAMMOly, “I.Y.A.A.Y.A.S.”   Deana was an avid cross-stitcher, quilter, bingo player, dancer, and candy crush player. While we will miss her presence here, she will be in the presence of the One that has made all things whole.

Deana was the daughter of the late Donald Eugene Grant and Susan Grant. She was preceded in death by the love of her life of 34 years, Gene Steven Morehouse, and a sister, Donna Frank. She is survived by her daughter, Heather Anne Davis (Brandon); son, Daniel Alexander Morehouse; sisters, Darcy Manwaring (Mark), Desiree Bickmore, Diane Grant, and Dione Uresti (Steve); a close family friend of 37 years whom Deana referred to as her “little brother” Rodney High. 

A memorial service will be held at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.
