Danny Ray Daugherty

Danny Ray Daugherty, 74 of Spring Grove passed away on September 28, 2019 at his residence.  Mr. Daugherty is survived by his wife of 55 years Grayce Cecilia Button Daugherty; daughter, Darlene D. Trivett (Ritchie); son, Daniel E. Daugherty (Karyn); grandchildren, Ashley, Tristen, Hannah, Heather, Katelynn, Dylan, Katie and Logan; great-granddaughter, Kayten; and his brother, Edgar Stiltner (Michelle).  Mr. Daugherty, proudly served his country in the U S Airforce for 22 years, serving four tours in Vietnam, he was a Ruritan and member of the American Legion. After retirement from the Air Force he worked for twenty plus years as the Park Ranger at Pipsico Boy Scout Camp in Spring Grove, VA.  A memorial service with military honors will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2019, 3 p.m. at Little’s Funeral Home, Smithfield, VA.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
