Cynthia Lue Porter

Smithfield: Cynthia Lue Porter of Smithfield passed away August 5, 2019 at Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk.  She is survived by her husband of thirty-eight years Edsil Ray Porter Jr., a step-son Steven Porter, and two grandchildren Aryn and Cole. Cynthia was a major in the Sheriff’s Department for the city of Newport News.  A funeral service will be held Sunday August 11, 2019 at 3:00pm at Little’s Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplin Marie Boyd officiating.  The family will receive friends before the service beginning at 2:00pm.  Online condolences may be registered at www.littlesfuneralhome.com.
