Chris Wolf

Robert Christopher Wolf, 74, of Carrollton, VA, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 23, 2026. Chris was the son of the late, Robert William Wolf and Virginia Grace Springer Wolf. He is survived by his wife and best friend of 48 years, Cheryl Menges Wolf; daughter, Morgan Marie Squyres (Josh); and a sister, Suzi McCabe. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Carol Volk and Peggy Liston; and a brother, John Wolf.

Chris was passionate about the broadcast industry and knew early on that was what he wanted to do. His 40-year career began shortly after graduating high school, when he found work as a disc jockey. He later moved into television, first as a switcher in the engineering department, then as a Promotion Director, and finally as Director of Programming and Creative Services.

Chris enjoyed our weekly family dinners with Morgan & Josh; watching Jaguars football; and snuggle time with his faithful pup, Chato. When still in Florida, weekly trivia nights with the extended family; playing cards with brother-in-law Dan and his wife, Jeanette while listening to music from our era.

He will be remembered as a man who was always generous, upbeat and encouraging to those he met and always willing to help if someone was in need.
