Carolyn Joyce Williams

Carolyn Joyce Manning Williams passed away Monday August 5, 2019 at Riverside Regional Medical Center.  She is preceded in death by her husband Lester L. Williams and her parents Major and Hildamay Manning.  Joyce is survived by her son Robert Blevins Jr. (Barbara), daughters Shirley B. McConnell (Pat), Lavinia Blevins, Molly B. Shackelford, and Martha B. Benoche (Donny).  She is also survived by her nine grandchildren Frank, Major, Alexa, Jessica, Beverly, Katie, Kassie, Tad, and Cherie and also by her seven great-grandchildren Hunter, Collin, Jourdan, Audrey, Melody, Vincent, and Junior.  Joyce is also survived by her sister Janis M. Jones (Ronnie).  Her children would like to thank her special friends Nancy Shepard, Deborah Lee, and Margaret Skinner.

Joyce had a great love for her savior Jesus Christ and was an active member of Bible World Church in Chesapeake Virginia.  She enjoyed ministering to the elderly.  Joyce was also a master in sewing and arts and crafts.

A graveside service will be conducted on Saturday August 10, 2019 at 11:00AM at Uzzell’s Church Cemetery in Isle of Wight Virginia with Pastor Robert Thorp officiating.  Condolences may be registered online at www.littlesfuneralhome.com
