Brenda Jean Jones Carroll

Brenda Jean Jones Carroll, 74, of Elberon, VA, passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022.  She was the daughter of the late Tommie Gwaltney Jones and Grace Elizabeth Berryman Jones.  She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Percy W. Carroll; son, Ronald Clay Carroll; brothers, Ernest Melvin Jones (Barbara) and Milton G. Jones.  She was also preceded in death by a sister Elizabeth Anne Sowards and a sister-in-law, Bonnie Jones. She was loving and devoted mother and wife.  She loved to cook and bake. Known as “Nana”, her passion was keeping children for working mothers.  While she was unable to attend church in recent years her devotion to the Lord never diminished, she enjoyed watching her religious shows on television. She will be missed by all who knew her. A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Oak Grove Methodist Church Cemetery.
