Bobby Vick Cooke

Bobby Vick Cooke, 85 of Carrollton, VA passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024. He was the son of the late George Vick Cooke and Lucille Vernice Parrish Cooke. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Lena Brown Cooke; daughter, Tammy Annette Cooke; sons, Michael Alan Cooke (Robin) and Scott Douglas Cooke (Dr. Ana Rojas-Cooke); grandchildren, Kyle, Jennifer, Tyler, Brady, Drew and Cole; and great grandchildren, Avery, Lucas, Jeri, Maclin and Caius. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Brenda C. Gibbs and a brother, George Gordon Cooke. Bobby served his country from 1958-1960 as a member of the US Army.

Bobby, known as “POP” to his family, was a loving father and husband. He always put family first. In his younger years, POP was a volunteer youth baseball and football coach. He also enjoyed playing golf and billiards. In his later years, POP cherished family visits and hearing stories about his kids, grand kids, and great grand kids. POP will always be remembered as a man who loved his family! POP, rest in peace. We love you!

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024, 10 a.m. at St. Luke’s Memorial Park Cemetery.
