Betty R Nagy

Betty R. Nagy, 95, of Smithfield, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Abraham Otto and John and Mary Maloof. She was the beloved wife of the late Louis J. Nagy and was also preceded in death by her daughter, Donna Moore; her son, Dale Nagy and his wife Diane; and two sisters, Corinne Otto and Lucille Leach. She is survived by her son, Darrell Nagy (Joan), grandsons, Stephen Nagy, Joseph Nagy, and Frank Moore, III, all who affectionately called her “Sitto”; and her son-in-law, Frank Moore, Jr. and his wife Gayle.

A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, 11 a.m. at The Roman Catholic Church of the Good Shepherd, 300 Smithfield Blvd, Smithfield, VA 23430. The family will receive friends at a reception following the service at the church. Burial will take place at a later date at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Avon, OH.
