Betty Lou Martin

Betty Lou Martin, 84, of Dendron, VA entered the arms of her heavenly father on December 16, 2023 after a long illness. 

 Left to cherish her memories are her husband of 66 years, J. C. Martin, Jr.; her sister, Joanne Justis (Bill) of Rustburg, VA ; her daughter, Alice Martin of Gloucester, VA: her son, Keith Martin (Tammy) of Wakefield, VA; her grandchildren Mike Clements (Cameo) of Cleveland, TX, Ashley Johnson (Travis) of Yorktown, VA, Robert Martin (Ashley) of Mattaponi, VA, and B. K. Martin (Tiffany) of Ivor, VA ; 7 great grandchildren, Tristan, Ava, Dylan, Lorelai, Grayson, Chesney and Paisley.  She was predeceased by her mom, dad, brother and her precious great granddaughter Tinsley.

She was a godly wife, mother and grandmother with a heart of gold.  Her passions were sewing, looking for shark's teeth, making mints, baking and creating crafts to profit her church and all things butterflies.  Everyone who knew her loved to gift her with beautiful butterflies to add to her collection.  Surely she was escorted into heaven on butterfly wings.
