Benjaman Elmer Brown

Benjaman (Ben) Elmer Brown, 88, passed away on November 25,2017. He was a veteran of the Korean war era and retired from Brown and Root Construction Company to live the rest of his days in Rockport, Texas. Born to the late Elmer and Josie Brown in Isle of Wight County, he is predeceased by his wife Mable, brothers Billy and Bobby(Jane), granddaughter Nicole, a niece and two nephews. He is survived by two sons, Jim(Carol) and William (Patricia); two daughters, Mary Kautz(Don) and Vickie Kolden(Jeff); two sisters, Martha Powell(Melvin, deceased) and Bess Cochran(Steve); two brothers, Joe and Glenn; grandchildren, great grandchildren, and one great, great grandchild, niece’s and nephews. A graveside service will be held at St. Luke's Memorial Cemetery in Smithfield, Virginia on Wednesday, December 20th at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to your favorite charity.
