Barbara Ellen McIntire

Barbara Ellen McIntire, 66, of Smithfield, VA, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2020.  She was the daughter of the late Vincent Bernard Comerford and Mary Dmitruk Comerford.  She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Lawrence David McIntire; daughters, Cheryl McIntire Jones (Bobby) and Jeannie McIntire Harlow (Tim); grandchildren, Austyn McIntire, Kyleigh Jones, Kaitlyn Jones, Eddie Goodknecht, Mintie Quate, David Goodknecht and Kevin Goodknecht, Jr; great grandchildren, Constance, A.J., Marcellus, Diana, Sam and Cara.  Barbara enjoyed working with the disabled and leaving a positive footprint in her community, she enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.  Her heart of gold will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
