Augustine Lee Martin

Augustine “Tootsie” Lee Martin, 82, of Eclipse, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Vernie David Gay and Ruby Lee Carr. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, George (G.B.) Martin, Jr; daughter, Julie Barnes (Jimmy); son, George (Buddy) Martin, III (Melissa); grandchildren, Tiffany Rose Martin, George (Bud) Martin IV, and Charles Barnes; great grandchildren, James Martin and Rowan Martin. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Theo (Boots) W. Babb and John H. Babb Sr.

Mrs. Martin worked along side her husband for many years on the water as a commercial waterman. She loved her animals, was an excellent cook and enjoyed their time together on the water.
