Arden Hemp Mann

Arden Hemp Mann, 93, of Smithfield, passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021.  She was the daughter of the late Robert Hemp and Hattie Bernice Woolwine Jackson.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Alfred Hayes Mann.  She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Mann Gray (Donald); sons, Ronald E. Mann (Raye), Donald A. Mann and William J. Mann (Sandi); nine grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.  She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Shirley Mann and a great grandchild, Kaleb Hayes Gray.  Mrs. Mann was a member of Smithfield Baptist Church and the Paulette Savage Sunday School Class.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2 p.m. at Smithfield Baptist Church.   In lieu of flowers the family suggests donation be made to the Smithfield Baptist Benevolence Fund, www.smithfieldbaptist.org.
