Amber’s life was tragically cut short when she was struck and killed while walking her dog. This unforeseen and heartbreaking incident has left the Gibson and Sarver families in deep mourning and shock. Amber’s sudden departure has created a void that words cannot adequately express. Amber’s Family – Amber Lynn Gibson, 35, went to be with the Lord on February 1, 2024. She was the daughter of Nicholyn Gibson and step-parents Mark and Lara Sullivan. She was predeceased in life by her two sons Adam and Ryu Sarver and Jesse’s grandmother Nancy Day.
Amber is survived by her loving husband Jesse Sarver, two sons Gabriel and Reese and a daughter Rylee residing in Smithfield, VA. Her family includes her brother LCDR Sean and Katherine Gibson living in San Diego, CA. Her sister Coreyanne and husband Mark McNulty living in Fredericksburg, VA. Her Virginia Beach relatives include her sister Bailey and husband Trevor Hodgdon and her sons Aiden and Lucas and a daughter Scarlette; her uncle Scott and Whitney Gibson and their family including sons Ryan Bergstresser, Tristan Gibson and Bianca Quinn and their children Kylo and Veronica, son Wesley Wetherbee and Emily Walker and their daughter Willow, and daughter Adriana Moore and Marcus Barrett; her uncle Ian and Stephanie Gibson and daughter Theodora. Her uncle Wesley II and wife Cindy Gibson and son Wesley III in Hartley, DE. Amber’s mother-in-law Linda Day; her aunt Sandra Day Woods; and brother-in-law Greg and Liasa Sarver in Norfolk, VA.
A memorial funeral service celebrating Amber’s life will be held at 4:30 PM Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Saint Luke’s Cemetery, in Smithfield, VA. Memorial service will be open for all who want to celebrate Amber’s life. Online condolences may be registered at www.littlesfuneralhome.com
