Ada Ruth Odom

It is with sorrow that the family of Ada R. Odom announce her passing.  She passed away on January 14, 2022 while visiting her son in Virginia. She was a lifelong resident of New Madrid, Missouri.  She touched the lives of many people with her love and personality.  She was an active member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Madrid. She was preceded in death by her husband Vaughn; son, John; grandson, Ryan; parents John and Elizabeth Beaher; and seven siblings.  Survivors include her son, Larry (Marsha); daughter-in-law Ann; sister-in-law, Helen Beaher; granddaughter, Samantha Patterson; grandson’s, John Christopher (Tina) and Justin (Vicky). A celebration of Ada’s life will begin with the visitation at 12 noon, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Madrid on Friday, January 21, 2022 followed by a Mass at 1 p.m.  Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in New Madrid.
